Industrial Management Certificate and EV Fundamentals Micro-Credential

The Unifor EV Auto Sector Upskilling Training Project is now accepting applications from Unifor IPS members for:
- Industrial Management Certificate program
- EV Fundamentals Micro-Credential
Students who complete the program will earn both certificates.
What is the Program?
The Industrial Management Certificate and the EV Fundamentals Micro-Credential are online, instructor-led certificate programs developed by Fanshawe College, an accredited and recognized institution.

Program Outlook
These certificates prepare students with essential knowledge and skills to thrive in the manufacturing sector and in leadership roles, while gaining expertise in the EV battery sector.
Students will learn:
- Leadership and Management Skills
- Advanced Communication Skills
- Safety and Compliance
- Project Management
- Operations and Quality Management
- EV Battery Fundamentals
Program Schedule and Location
- In-Person: First two days at Fanshawe’s Woodstock location, January 6 & 7, 2026
- Online: Remaining portion from January 12 – June 11, 2026, approximately 16–20 hours/week
- Total Program Hours: 360 hours (Students can complete most of the program from home)
Eligibility
- Unifor IPS member
- Completed Grade 12 / GED
- Grade 12 English
- Grade 10 Math
- Proficient in computer skills
Cost
- Tuition: Covered by the program
- Transportation: Students are responsible for their own travel
